Stopped
Mindfulness
Extends to rocks, trees, stars, anything.
In a quiet, open, flexible mind
There are no boundaries,
Just whatever comes to mind.
Zazen Meditation
Sit in an upright posture, without any gaining notion.
Without trying to get better, get ahead, or achieve something.
Without trying to realize anything, in particular or in general.
Notice the changing present moment.
Shikantaza
WIthin Zazen's upright posture and concentration:
Non-thinking mind, non-attaching to feelings.
Just rest: boundless, alive, awake, and aware,
Not clinging to Self, not even holding a perception of Self.
Practice
These meditations are not based on theories, ideals. or faith.
Instead each changes within your practice
Within each experiment, each experience, each moment
Experimentally, experientially, existentially.
